Ashtyn's First Camping Trip

We wanted to go camping all summer and finally squeezed it in at the end of the season (thank you Joneses for inviting us!!). What a blast. Ashtyn did great--slept quite well and thought that the whole thing was great. Here are some pics:

Ashtyn's first s'more (sans chocolate, she still thinks it's "yucky" usually). Marshmallows on the other hand are apparently pretty awesome.

My favorite picture--she woke up slightly disorientated and confused but deliriously happy. Could be the s'more still smeared all over her face from the night before....

And of course, the end of the trip ended up with Ashtyn skinny dipping in the stream. It was entirely her idea--we were just playing in it when she declared "I want go in!" so, why not? Without even hesitating she started stripping down and in she went.
