Sunday Walk

Ashtyn has been a lot of fun to take on walks lately. Here she is examining some lawn ornaments in a neighbor's yard. She was telling us how the butterfly was "yellow." Yup, that's right, she knows her colors. Yellow seems to either her favorite to say or just her favorite color--she points out everything yellow lately.

Today Ashtyn and I took a meal down the street to my visiting teach-ee (she just had her baby) and on the walk home Ashtyn was just going on and on and ON about how we gave some "food" to a "man" and how we put it in his "hand" and about how he had glasses on his "eyes." That is, until we got to the "big tractors" (they are actually rather small, but they plow the snow in our little community and she thinks they are AWESOME). Then all the way home she told me several times about the "big tractors" and how they were "yellow" and had "wheels" with "snow" in them and how sometimes she sees them push the snow (no words for that--just lots of hand motions and sound affects). Anyway, she is quite the chatter box. She tells us all about the world around her now (who would think that the lady at church who sneezed would be so exciting?)
